Some programs open files in an exclusive way, so a backup of those files will fail if the program is open.You can use Volume Shadow Services , which you will find in the General tab to copy those files anyway. </p> <p>You can also use events to solve this problem. For example, add an event to close the program (MS Word, in my example) before the backup begins.
